My unforgettable trip to Leh 

Last  year in the month of June we decided to go to Leh and ladakh.It took us 10 days to complete this trip, which was full of adventures . I saw many places there.The main attractions of this area include the Leh Khar Palace, Leh Monastery, Leh Mosque, Tsemo Gompa, Stok Palace Museum and Pangong lake. Pangong lake seems to be the best sight seeing in Ladakh region. passing through Chang - la Pass in ltself is quiet exciting. The lake is vast and largely made famous due to the filming of the movie 3 idiots...now they even have 3 idiots cafe, rancho cafe and so on.The lake acts as an important breeding ground for a large variety of migratory birds and one can feed these birds as well. I saw many other living organisms there.Some of them are: Double hump Bactrian camel, Marmat.

Ladakh has 255 different birds species, both resident and migratory. The migratory birds, Black neck crane, Bar-headed Goose, Snowcock, Brahminy Duck etc are found in the Changthang region of Ladakh. In the mountains one can see Chukor Partridge, Kestrel, Lammergeyer, Himalayan griffin vultures and also the occasional golden eagle.
